Youth Boot Camp: The Upper Room Experience

General Conduct

• Respect leaders and fellow campers.
• Stay on campgrounds unless permitted to leave.
• Be punctual for all activities.
• Observe curfew: lights out = in dorms.

Spiritual Life

• Daily devotion, prayer, and Bible study are essential.
• Bring your Bible, notebook, and pen.
• Phones off/silent during services.

Behaviour

• No fighting, bullying, or gossip.
• Dress modestly & appropriately.
• Respect boundaries between male and female campers.
• Keep noise down in dorms & prayer areas.

Health & Safety

• Report illness/injury immediately.
• No alcohol, drugs, or harmful items.
• Keep sleeping/common areas tidy.
• Follow safety rules for fire, water, sports & equipment.

WHAT TO BRING

• Bible & Notebook – for study sessions, devotions, and taking notes.
• Clothing – comfortable outfits for 4 days (include casual wear, and sleepwear).
• Footwear – at least one pair of comfortable shoes and slippers.
• Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sponge, towel, deodorant, sanitary items (for ladies).
• Bedding – bedsheet, pillowcase, blanket and mat(optional).
• Water Bottle – to stay hydrated.
• Torchlight/Flashlight(optional)
• Personal Medication – if you're on any prescription.
• Snacks like cereals, biscuits, beverages etc (Optional) – but meals will be provided.

What NOT to Bring

• Electronic gadgets (except basic phones if allowed).
• Expensive jewelry or valuables.
• Items that may cause distraction or disturbance.

Why This Is Important

Coming with the right items will help you stay comfortable, focused, and fully engaged in all camp activities. Being unprepared may make your stay inconvenient and limit how much you can benefit from the camp experience.
